We are students, workers, elders, and youth—bound not by power or politics, but by love for our people and a shared hope for a future free from fear. Our strength lies in peaceful resistance, in telling our stories, and in demanding the rights that every human being deserves.
We believe that no one should have to live in fear of war, displacement, or discrimination. Our struggle is your struggle, because when one community is silenced, the voice of humanity weakens. Together, we rise—not as victims, but as survivors determined to build a just and peaceful tomorrow.
PTM was born out of decades of systemic oppression, including:
Enforced disappearances
Extrajudicial killings
Torture
Harassment and surveillance
These abuses—allegedly carried out by Pakistani military and intelligence agencies—have left thousands without justice.
Many PTM members and supporters have been:
Unlawfully arrested
Imprisoned without trial
Detained in secret locations
In some cases, killed in custody, with families denied the right to mourn
We continue to speak truth to power, demanding justice for the victims and accountability for the perpetrators.
PTM firmly opposes all forms of terrorism, including the use of Pashtun regions as bases for proxy wars and extremist networks—often with state sponsorship. We condemn:
